Winter (Standard Time)

Weekdays 6:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.  Saturdays 7:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M.

Summer (Daylight Savings) ................Weekdays 6:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M.  Saturdays 7:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M.

Closed Sundays, Mondays & Borough Holidays

Aluminum Scrap  Ferrous Scrap  Batteries (Auto, Household & Industrial)

Leaves  Grass  Branches  Corrugated Cardboard  Computer-Ledger Paper

 

CURBSIDE RECYCLING

For residents whose garbage collection is on Tues/Fri your recycle pickup is on Thursday.

For residents whose garbage collection is on Mon/Thurs. your recycle pickup is on Friday.

Note: If your recycle collection day falls on a holiday, collection is rescheduled for the following Saturday.

 

NEW FOR 2010: Newspaper should now be placed with mixed paper– newspaper, magazines, catalogs, junk mail, brown paper bags, nonmetallic wrapping paper, office records, computer paper, file folders, receipts, telephone books, softcover books, hardcover books with covers removed and greeting cards. Not accepted in plastic bags or paper leaf bags. Also NEW FOR 2010 Tissue, cereal, pizza, shoe and gift boxes should now be placed with corrugated cardboard.

 

New residents can obtain one free rectangular container with lid and one free round commingled container. Additional containers can be purchased. Must show proof of new residency.  All residents can purchase recycling containers for $10 on the first Thursday of each month.
