ORDINANCE FOR INTRODUCTION

 

ORDINANCE NO. 1735-08 -  AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE MIDDLESEX BOROUGH RESCUE SQUAD TO SOLICIT CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE MOTORISTS ON JUNE 28, 2008, JULY 20, 2008 AND AUGUST 21, 2008 AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF HARRIS AVENUE AND SHEPHERD AVENUE, ROUTE 28 AND GREENBROOK ROAD AND MOUNTAIN AVENUE AND ROUTE 28 PURSUANT TO AUTHORIZATION GIVEN BY THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION UNDER SECTION 16:40-1.1 OF THE NEW JERSEY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, SUBJECT TO THE MIDDLESEX BOROUGH RESCUE SQUAD OBTAINING A “CHARITABLE SOLICITATION PERMIT” FROM THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.

 

CONSENT AGENDA #2008(I)

 

Resolution #105-08        Approving a Block Party for residents of Edwards Avenue between Stella Place and Whitney Drive on June 21, 2008 between the hours of 11 a.m. – 11 p.m..

Resolution #106-08        Approving the closure of part of Fischer Avenue between Howard Avenue and Valentine Avenue on May 17, 2008 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. with a rain date of May 18, 2008 for a fundraiser yard sale.

Resolution #107-08        Declaring as surplus the 1992 Honda Civic LX Sedan 4D that has been listed on the Police Department inventory.

Resolution #108-08        Approving the execution of the MCUA Temporary Discharge Approval Application for the Groundwater generated from the remediation activities at the Middlesex Sampling Plant.

Resolution #109-08        Ratifying the execution of an Interim Cost Agreement with 150 Lincoln Boulevard, LLC, the Conditional Redeveloper of a portion of the Lincoln Boulevard Rehabilitation Area           

Resolution #110-08        Pay all Claims

Resolution #111-08        Authorizing the Governing Body to go into Closed Session to discuss certain matters which are exempted from the Public
