ORDINANCE FOR ADOPTION

ORDINANCE NO. 1735-08 -  AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE MIDDLESEX BOROUGH RESCUE SQUAD TO SOLICIT CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE MOTORISTS ON JUNE 28, 2008, JULY 20, 2008 AND AUGUST 21, 2008 AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF HARRIS AVENUE AND SHEPHERD AVENUE, ROUTE 28 AND GREENBROOK ROAD AND MOUNTAIN AVENUE AND ROUTE 28 PURSUANT TO AUTHORIZATION GIVEN BY THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION UNDER SECTION 16:40-1.1 OF THE NEW JERSEY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, SUBJECT TO THE MIDDLESEX BOROUGH RESCUE SQUAD OBTAINING A “CHARITABLE SOLICITATION PERMIT” FROM THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.

Resolution #117-08        Approving the budget amendment by Sadat Associates, Inc. in the amount of $20,700 regarding the Middlesex Municipal Landfill     

Resolution #118-08        Approving the proposal by T & M Associates for engineering services for the 2008 Sidewalk Program in am amount not to exceed $28,600.

Resolution #119-08        Authorizing the Mayor and Council to waive all permit fees associated with the annual D.A.R.E. Night Out at Mountain View Park scheduled for May 16, 2008.

Resolution #120-08        Adopting the AXA Equitable’s Specimen Deferred Compensation Plan and Service Agreement

Resolution #121-08        Declaring specific inventory from the Department of Public Works as surplus.

Resolution #122-08        Approval of Change Order Nos. 23 – 29 for the Middlesex Police Building

Resolution #123-08        Approval of the Professional Service Contract for John T. Chadwick IV, P.P. for prepare the Re-Examination Report in an amount not to exceed $10,000.

Resolution #124-08        Refund escrow monies to close various escrow accounts
